Sr Solutions Consultant
Ascension Logistics, Inc., Waukesha, WI, has five openings available for the position of Sr. Solution Consultant. This position will perform consulting activities and build client deliverables to help customer achieve best practice results: Assess customer business needs and design and configure appropriate solution; Document as is (current-state) and to be (future-state) processes; Assume primary business process design responsibility for one or more functional areas of the solution; Lead configuration efforts with the customer, depending on the supply chain solution being deployed; Develop enhancement specifications for custom development.: Assist customers with testing, as appropriate based on the supply chain solution being deployed; Provide help desk/support training for the client's solution; Responsible for issue tracking, analysis, and resolutions; Play an active role in functional end user training; Provide go-live operations support; Assist client in the design and testing of the Integration of the supply chain solution with the Host system(s). Provide guidance to project team. Provide operational reviews of system utilization: Identify best practices for solution used; Guide customer in exploiting all product functionality. Provide on-site application operation guidance for customers: Guide business users on the operation of the application and the administration of business processes, reference data, etc. Lead and mentor teams: Lead small teams in assignments as directed; Groom team members to attain the next level. Reports to Ascension Logistics, Inc. in Waukesha, WI but may telecommute. May travel to customer locations within the U.S. 5% to 15% of time
Requires bachelor's degree in logistics, computer science, electronics engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience which must include: 5 years of experience with SQL/PLSQL and with one or more database systems; 4 years of experience in the following: web tools, graphical user interface (GUI), and Windows 2000/XP and Unix platforms; developing process flows, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), Solution Summary documents, as well as Functional Analysis and technical Detailed Design documents; 2 years of experience in the following: working with JDA-RedPrairie's Warehouse Management System; operational experience in inventory management and warehousing labor inefficiencies; developing Report Writer and/or Jasper Reports for RedPrairie's software products; developing labels through the use of CodeSoft and/or NiceLabel software; developing RedPrairie DDA's (Data Driven Applications); developing RedPrairie's RF forms using both pre-2009.2 RF code and post-2009.1 MTF java code; developing RedPrairie's MCS framework applications using Dot Net; developing MOCA, MSQL, and MOCA JAVA code; installing, developing, providing advanced configuration of RedPrairie's WMS application and Integrator applications to communicate between one or more Host systems; performing advanced QA (Quality Assurance) analysis, data creation and setup activities, and QA testing; warehouse, transportation, parcel, and/or retail operations and management principles, practices and implementation life cycle; playing a leadership role in implementing or managing supply chain and/or retail systems; implementing RedPrairie's Archiving and Database Backup and Maintenance methodologies; implementing RedPrairie's EMS (Event Management System); implementing 3PL (Third Party Logistics) functionality for the RedPrairie Digital Logistix product; leading 2 or more successful implementations with one or more supply chain software solutions, including providing end-to-end management, functional, and technical expertise; 1 year of experience in the following: installing and implementing RedPrairie's Parcel software; developing in C, C++, or C# coding languages; working with RF terminal devices such as Intermec, TechLogix, and/or Symbol; successfully managing and leading a staff of at least 2 engineers and/or QA testers.
